The Tahoe area brings in people from all over and The Crest is blessed with some of the finest.  Our employees all have at least one thing common, a love for great food and drink couple with a passion for the outdoors, the Sierras in-particular!  Outside of the café they find time to enjoy our beautiful surrounding as often as possible.  Meet our Team!

    Kyle Davis

    Kyle started in the food service industry 30 years ago, when he was 15 years. A Massachusetts native he worked as a cook and kitchen manager in the Boston area before heading to college. After graduating from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island with a degree in Hotel-Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts, he and his wife Jodi packed their bags and headed to Lake Tahoe. He found work in several Tahoe area restaurants including The Naughty Dawg, Sunnyside and Jakes, before signing on as a head chef at a Tahoe City catering company. It was there that he met Lisa and five years later, they opened The Crest Café & Catering.

    Lisa Laliotis

    Lisa has been in the food service industry since high school. She started out making subs for a local deli then moved on to bussing and serving tables at restaurants in the Tahoe area during her college summers. After getting her bachelors degree from University of California at Davis, she spent time in the business world, but found herself drawn back to the world of food. She joined The Tahoe City catering company and it was there that she met Chef Kyle Davis. After some years of working together, they decided to venture out on their own and opened up The Crest Café & Catering. Lisa lives in Truckee with her husband Tony and two kids.
